This book is subtitled “True Stores of the Remarkable Power of Prayer.” The preface states that Quin wrote this book to let us know that miracles still happen today, often in response to the prayers of ordinary people like all of us. She tells us that we don’t have to wait until we have super strong faith to pray for miracles, that we can start with the mustard seed amount of faith that we have right now. She goes over some of the basics of how to pray and instructs us through the scriptures to point out principles of asking, such as making a specific request. She then shares a series of true stories, some big miracles, some small yet profound. At the end of each chapter she gives us a list of scriptures to guide us in our prayers for the miracles we need.

Review: Quin breathlessly shares story after story of amazing answers to prayer. Each one is short yet wonderfully inspiring. By the time you have read the book you have overwhelming evidence from the experiences of a host of people that God truly answers prayer and answers it quite wonderfully in miraculous ways. Quin’s book makes it seem easy to pray and believe. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a little extra boost of faith and confidence in praying about their deepest needs.
