Instead of doing a straight forward phrase by phrase song using the Lord’s Prayer Mahr instead musically repeats phrases from this historic prayer with other passages from the Bible such as “I will sing a new song” “The rocks cry out.”

Beautiful lyrics, very singable, and very worshipful. It brings the Lord’s Prayer to a new level. It gives a fresh twist on very familiar words and helps us engage a rhythm of joy and expectancy to this prayer by making it a praise to God through the emphasis on God’s glory and Kingdom coming rather than on the recitation of our needs such as our need for food and protection.
